Taxes and Bookkeeping are in our blood! B.G. “Buz” Scheuer started the business in 1979 and his daughter Christine and granddaughter Madelyne have continued the family business through three generations.
Madelyne Cromwell, Enrolled Agent, owns and operates Cromwell Tax & Bookkeeping. Madelyne has expertise in tax preparation, tax planning, bookkeeping and payroll, and is authorized to represent clients before the IRS.
Madelyne is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents, the California Society of Enrolled Agents, the Sonoma County Executives Association, the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers, and is President of the North Bay Chapter of Enrolled Agents.
Prior to Cromwell Tax & Bookkeeping, Madelyne spent 15 years in financial services where she held senior management positions in finance and technology.
Madelyne has a B.S. degree, magna cum laude, in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, an A.S. degree from the Santa Rosa Junior College, and is pursuing a Master’s in Taxation from Golden Gate University.
When she is not working, Madelyne enjoys spending time with her wife and furry (canine) children, playing golf, and watching the Oakland A’s.
Christine Cromwell, Enrolled Agent, established Cromwell Tax & Bookkeeping in 1983. Christine has expertise in bookkeeping, payroll, tax return preparation, and tax planning and is authorized to represent clients before the IRS.
Christine is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents, the California Society of Enrolled Agents, the International Executives Association, and is the President of the Sonoma County Executives Association.
Christine has a B.A. degree in Business Management from Sonoma State University.
When she is not working, Christine enjoys singing in the choir and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who are “just the cutest!”
Niya Gannon, Enrolled Agent, has worked at Cromwell Tax & Bookkeeping for seven years. Niya started as a bookkeeping intern in 2011 after completing a two year Bookkeeping Certificate program at the Santa Rosa Junior College. She quickly advanced to be the Senior Bookkeeper and Payroll Analyst before completing her goal of becoming an Enrolled Agent.
Niya is a member of the California Society of Enrolled Agents. She has expertise in fiduciary accountings, bookkeeping, payroll, tax return preparation, and tax planning and is authorized to represent clients before the IRS.
When she is not working, Niya enjoys jewelry making, hiking, and spending time with her cats.
